Honor Ball

On Nov. 19th, 2022, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences 13th Governors Awards presented honorary Oscars, the life time achievement, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, to Michael J. Fox.

For his inspiration to the awareness, its research progress, towards the Parkinson's disease.  His emotional, 12 minute speech was the highlight of the ballroom event at Century City, California, on Saturday night.

Other honorees include Peter Weir, 78 years old, the first time Australian, the director of "Witness", "Dead Poet Society". Diane Warren, a song writer, nominated for Oscars 13 times for original songs.
