Oscars 2022 Nomination Preview

Or, simply the 94th Academy Awards prediction, the voting begins 27th, and the announcement on Feb. 8 (Wed.).  As the Golden Globes went by already, the main streams remain on "West Side Story", "The Power of the Dog" ?

But the film industry community may prefer the Best Director, Denis Villeneuve for "DUNE" ?  Since the front runners, Spielberg and Campion have won previously ?  Or, is he too much of a dark horse ?  But he and "Dune", well deserving, especially the Best Cinematography category.

The finals voting will end on March 22, Tuesday.  And the Oscars ceremony would air live on ABC, March 27, Sunday, from Dolby Theater, in Hollywood & Highland Center.
