Indicative Year. 30 years on.

1991 Academy Awards Best Picture nominees had never been like, any other.  Controversial, unprecedent dead heat.  Two masterpieces in the history of cinema, about good and evil, as never seen before.  After three decades, 'the Criterion Collection', the producer of digital restoration 4K, issued "The Silence of the Lambs" Blue-ray with surround DTS-HD Master Audio.

The winner of 5 Oscars, include the best director, actor, actress. Oliver Stone's "JFK" missed out from the major criteria, but the film fans, historians, critics, were much aware of the significance equally.  The last Blue-ray issue was the collector's edition, director's cut steelbook.

In 2021, we await for the special anniversary edition.

New "Rebecca" is not Hitchcock remake

Just in time for the season of classic thrillers..., "Rebecca" streaming service premieres on October 21, with Lily James, Armie Hammer, and Kristin Scott Thomas.

Ben Wheatley directs more of an adaptation of 1938 gothic novel by Daphne Du Maurier, than 'newer' Alfred Hitchcock's 1940 film, which won the Academy Awards best picture, starring Sir Lawrence Olivier and Joan Fontaine.  Supposedly an ideal husband, Maximillian, but the marriage is haunted by the 'ghost' of former Mrs. De Winter, 'Rebecca'.

"All Our Lives Matter." Movies We Should Remember Now.

And watch.  2018 Academy Award best picture, "Green Book" was of a simple friendship.  And best of all, it's based on a true story in America.  Social "Justice" ?Viggo Mortensen, left, and Mahershala Ali in a scene from Green Book.

Which was almost too similar to "Driving Miss Daisy", 1989 classic, with the Best Actress Oscar winner, Jessica Tandy, and Morgan Freeman.

Also, appealing to the younger generation nowadays was,"The Blind Side" (2009), Sandra Bullock was awarded with her Oscar, in this relationship drama, fans could say, reprising "Rocky", or "Forrest Gump".
