'Tis the time of the year...

And it is the time of Jamie Lee Curtis.  And the Halloween.  She is reprising, kept reprising, the same character for the sixth times, since the original first 1978 John Carpenter's slasher masterpiece.

Since she was 19 years old, she has been the film icon.  A victimized, but resilient, classic horror genre heroine, Laurie Strode.  Now the 62 years old star is once again, back in "Halloween", that kills.  And that's since 1998's "Halloween: H20", and 2018's new "Halloween", her last tour of duty.

Which was as memorable in "Knives Out", when she wasn't trick or treating.  Jamie Lee was as good, when she wasn't carrying her own franchise, this time of the year.
