New Zealand Knight

He was born in Northern Ireland, but was relocated to New Zealand when he was seven, and Sam Neill's film career formed from Australia in 1970's, his filmography known since 1981's cult horror "Possession".







Impressive, as he played 'Damien' in "Omen III: The Final Conflict", his popular presence on screen were opposite Nicole Kidman in "Dead Calm", with Sean Connery, "The Hunt for Red October".







But his break-through must be 1993's "Jurassic Park", Steven Spielberg's cast in the blockbuster of all top gross in the history, and same year's Oscar winner "The Piano", a period epic directed by Jame Campion, about New Zealand, where brought Sam Neill a knighthood.
