Passing of French Cinema Legend.

Michael Lonsdale worked with Orson Wells, Francois Truffaut, through '60s, but his international recognition came from Fred Zinnemann's "The Day of the Jackal" (1973), when he played French Police man chasing 'The Jackal', an assassin, aiming the life of Charles De Gaulle on Bastille Day.

And with his presence, "MOONRAKER" (1979) was one of the most successful Bond film, playing 'villain extraordinaire' Hugo Drax, opposite Roger Moore's 007.

And long list of hit titles included, 'The Name of the Rose', John Frankenheimer's 'RONIN'.  Michael Lonsdale passed away at the age of 89.  A bientot... (The title of Roger Moore's last autobiography)
