Into November, the movie business is getting ready for the Holiday season blockbusters and award nominee contentions, but also, we might have already seen the best of the year, and we know it ?

Our best of 2025 so far, arguably goes to Guillermo del Toro adaptation of "Frankenstein", with many facets assembled, fairy tale, dark fantasy, and horror, best picture, director in pole position.

And we need to have the wild card of the year into the race, Ryan Coogler's surprising, audacious "Sinners", is also a genre cross-over, theme layers blended into horror, Southern gothic, folklore, worthy of re-release from this fall.
