Lion King 30

It was 1994, an animated feature film, all animal story, and yet so dramatic, appealing, with Elton John's music, became one of the most successful musical adaptation on stage, performed world-wide.

 

Now three decades later, "Lion King" is made into a live-action prequel, "Mufasa", set to hit the screen from Dec. 20 (Fri.), 2024, along with 30th anniversary concert, beginning July, from Royal Albert Hall, London.

Plus the encore presentation of the original, it is time to review, for ourselves, with our kids, weren't even born back then.  With this re-issue of the classic, the box office responded very well.
