Venice, London to Tokyo

That the international film festival season 2022 are well under-way this autumn, all lined-up, and more open than previous years.  The first off, to celebrate 90th anniversary, the oldest film festival of the world, 79th Venice Film Festival from Aug. 31st.

Kicks off with the Golden Lion Lifetime Achievement Award to Catherine Deneuve, and the director, Paul Schrader.  The next stop at London Film Festival, the 66th annual by British Film Institute would feature new premiere to hit series, include Emily Brunt's "The English", "Knives Out 2".

The 35th Tokyo International Film Festival from Oct. 24 (Mon.), revealing the venues, more in person variety, accepting the entry for Prime Video Award, for new director in short films category.
