Unceremonious

No red carpet.  No stars.  No broadcasting, not even live-streaming after all.  The 79th Golden Globe Awards was 'private announcement' on Jan. 9, 2022.  And the best picture musical/comedy went to "West Side Story", such title, extraordinary spectacle, was presented..., just on record ?

The best picture drama was "The Power of the Dog" as expected, along with the best director, Jane Campion, not too much surprise till there, or till the best actor drama was Will Smith for "King Richard".

That's a diversity, isn't it ?  We wanted to listen to Will Smith speech, if there were a ceremony.
