Singing Holidays

Not only aiming for the best picture awards in coming season, but Steven Spielberg's adaptation, new script, new vision, and certainly new recording, "West Side Story" is reborn.  Out of the original scores from 1957 Broadway musical, and 1961 film.

The music of Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, choreographed by Jerome Robbins, would be revived, remastered, released December 10 (Fri.).

But before that, for children's Thanksgiving spirit could be lifted with 'Musical Fantasy', Disney Animation Studio's "Encanto", story of a girl with magical power, Mirabel Madrigal, who would enchant her family home.
