'Edelweiss' forever... Christopher Plummer (1929-2021)

He was born in Toronto, Canada, but the world may imagine he was Austrian, or German, simply because his 'Captain Von Trapp' remains as film classic legend, opposite Julie Andrews' 'Maria' in "The Sound of Music (1965)".

And he became the oldest actor to win the Oscar, as the Best Supporting Actor, from his role in "The Beginners" in 2012.

Julie Andrews led the tribute for the 'Cherished Friend', and she 'Treasures the memories' of their work together.  Christopher Plummer was 91.
