2021 Oscars Predictions

The eligibility period for 93rd Academy Awards, feature films must have a qualifying release date between Jan.1, 2020 and Feb. 28, 2021, and the nomination announcement would be on March 15 (Mon.), 2021.

Gary Oldman plays Herman Mankiewicz, alcoholic, compulsive gambler, screen writer of 'Citizen Kane', in David Fincher's "Mank", has the early lead with best actor Oscar.

"Nomadland" directed by Chloe Zhao, is the title to beat, for the best picture, and Frances McDormand for the best actress.  The presentation ceremony is on April 25 (Sun.) on ABC Television Network.
