His directing style is almost impossible to describe, the shot, his tempo, certainly was the most unique, in the history of cinema, there were no one like David Lynch.

Even from his debut, "Eraserhead (1977)" was a most original horror movie, but he could be remembered most from television series "Twin Peaks (1990)", following film titles, "DUNE", "Blue Velvet" in successive years.

 

He received the Honorary lifetime achievement Oscar in 2019, as perhaps, a surrealistic artist, cult icon, envisioning his twist of reality, into his world of film & television screen.
