Music Movies

Since they are not musicals, neither pop stars' concert films of late, but they're biopics of music world history.  Leonard Bernstein was a legend of conductor, the film "Maestro" would feature soundtrack of music epic itself.

Bradley Cooper not only portrays the composer, pianist, but directs the movie himself, his performance is already bound for awards season of next year.  Sophia Coppola directed "Priscilla", her idea mostly depicts love behind Elvis' life.

If she's not following Baz Luhrmann's "Elvis", fans inevitably would be drawn into more of Elvis' private life, in her film, with his young teenage wife, and darker side of their privacy, marriage.  Equally the film is worthy of acclaims and awards, both performance and direction.
