Are they for real ?

Yes.  They are live-actioned, of course.  And proven hits, for "The Little Mermaid" case, it was 'mission possible'!  That, it dominated Memorial Day week-end box office, as expected, brought in family audiences, and much more world-wide release to follow.

And the same audiences for the next summer blockbuster up, "Barbie" ?  Set to release July 21 (Fri.), directed by Greta Gerwig ("Little Women", "Lady Bird"), starring Margot Robbie for the title role, Ryan Gosling as Ken !

Since the new trailer sees Barbie is going out, ...down, to the real world, out of water... ?  Or, out of Barbieland, or Barbie's Dream House.  Isn't it "Enchanted", "Splash" ?  Or, older mermaid ?
