Tally and Diversity

...come to the year end 2021, for the nominations of 79th Golden Globe Awards.  But it cannot be aired on the national television broadcast, instead we must stream, Jan. 9 (Sun.) 2022.  

Because of the lack of diversity.  The network dropped the ceremony, from the nomination announcement of Dec. 13, also live streamed, did look different and subdued, but being led by "The Power of The Dog" & "Belfast" for the best motion pictures, surprise to suppress "West Side Story", or "DUNE" ?

As for diversity, Jane Campion is poised to take the best director award, her 2nd since "Piano (1993)", and the best actor may well be Denzel Washington for "The Tragedy of Macbeth" ?
